Admissions into HND

Eligibility:

A pass in at least two Advance level subjects Excluding Religion

Required Documents for Registration:

Photocopies of the following:-

Ordinary level slip/certificate for those students of the Anglophone sub-system of education OR Probatoire results for those students of the Francophone sub-system of education.

Advanced level slip/certificate for those students of the Anglophone sub-system of education OR Baccalaureate for those students of the Francophone sub-system of education.

Birth certificate

Valid Identity Card.

Two passport size photographs to be provided.

Admissions into B-Tech

Eligibility:

Higher National Diploma Certificate

Required Documents for Registration:

  • Certified copy of Birth Certificate
  • Certified copy of Advanced Level Certificate
  • Certified copy of HND Result Slip (Certified by the Ministry of Higher Education)
  • Medical Certificate obtained from a military or government hospital
  • Four passport size photographs
  • HND School Transcript (Year 1 and 2- to be collected from your school) Note: The original copy.
  • Photocopy of National Identity Card

Admissions into BBA

Eligibility:

A pass in at least two Advance level subjects

Required Documents for Registration:

  • Certified copy of Birth Certificate
  • Certified copy of Advanced Level Certificate
  • Medical Certificate obtained from a military or government hospital
  • Four passport size photographs
  • HND School Transcript (Year 1 and 2- to be collected from your school) Note: The original copy.

Admissions into MBA

Eligibility:

A B.Sc.,  B.A, B.Tech or Equivalents

Required Documents for Registration:

  • Photocopy of National Identity Card
  • Photocopy of birth Certificate
  • photocopies o fall academic Certificates namely B.Sc., B,A, B.Tech or equivalents
  • A Copy of Undergraduate Transcripts
  • Four Passport size Photographs
  • A Motivational letter clearly stating your career path and how the chosen programme will meet career aspirations
  • Two letters of motivation from industrialist and/or University lecturers and A curriculum vitae

Admissions into EMBA

Eligibility:

A B.Sc.,  B.A, B.Tech or Equivalents and must be a working professional

Required Documents for Registration:

  • Photocopy of National Identity Card
  • Photocopy of birth Certificate
  • photocopies o fall academic Certificates namely B.Sc., B,A, B.Tech or equivalents
  • A Copy of Undergraduate Transcripts
  • Four Passport size Photographs
  • A Motivational letter clearly stating your career path and how the chosen programme will meet career aspirations
  • Two letters of motivation from industrialist and/or University lecturers and A curriculum vitae

Fee Structure & policy

 

“PLEASE READ THIS POLICY”

Fees are broken down into two semesters and not two instalments. The fee for each semester is payable within the semester and can be paid in several instalments. After registration at HIMS, the student, therefore, may elect to pay his annual fees at once, or the full semester fees, or at least, the minimum initial deposit, before the start of classes. The minimum initial deposit is indicated in the 7th column on the schedule below.

**NB: An annual students union fee of 2,500CFAshall be paid by all returning students.

DEADLINES AND IMPORTANT ISSUES RELATING TO FEES

  1. The registration and admission package fee is independent of the tuition fee and is non-refundable. It covers student Union dues, insurance, student identity card and school polo shirt.
  2. The minimum initial deposit is paid upon registration or resumption at the beginning of the academic year.
  3. The first semester fee is a top up of the initial deposit. Thus, the student must pay the complement to bring total first semester fee to the amount in column 4 on or before the 31st of January.
  4. Level 300 students (second year HND) MUST pay all fees before the 31st of January.
  5. Students who shall not complete their first semester fees by the 31st of January, shall be denied access onto HIMS’ premises. Such students shall not be allowed to sit for their first semester examinations.
  6. The second semester fees [100 000 CFA for Level 200 (first year HND), and 125 000 CFA for level 400 (B -Tech and BBA)] MUST be paid on or before the 30th of April.
  7. Sponsors who cannot respect this schedule can negotiate for an alternative schedule with HIMS, which they must undertake in writing and in turn respect.
  8. Fee drives shall be announced and carried out when this schedule is not respected.
